Terms of Service

01The service

Mapnostics analyses source code repositories you connect and produces insights such as dead code detection, impact simulations, health scores, and onboarding guides. Analyses are generated in part by AI and are provided as guidance, not guarantees — always review findings before acting on them, especially before deleting code.

02Your account

You sign in with GitHub and are responsible for activity under your account. You must only connect repositories you own or have permission to analyse. Connecting a repository on behalf of an organisation requires authorisation from that organisation.

03Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Analyse repositories you do not have rights to access.
• Attempt to breach, probe, or circumvent our security or rate limits.
• Resell or redistribute the service without our written consent.
• Use the service to build a directly competing dataset by systematic extraction.

04Plans and billing

Free plans are limited as described on the pricing page. Paid plans renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time from Settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice.

05Intellectual property

Your code remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process connected repositories solely to provide the service. The Mapnostics software, brand, and generated report formats remain our property.

06Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". AI-generated analyses may contain errors, including false positives in dead code detection. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

07Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

08Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
